De-mineralized whey D-70

Interface Protein Technology,Inc. USA donated 2800 cases of SAGE-2 nutraceutical drink product to the States Food Bank.  SAGE-2 showed antiviral activity against influenza virus A based on a cell line challenge study in the USA.

   
 

 

 

 Description:   A non-hygroscopic pasteurized food-grade whey powder with reduced minerals

  (de-   mineralized), which can be used in food applications to bring whey protein components

  requiring lower minerals.  This product contains only about 30% of minerals in normal whey powders

  and complies with FDA’s Good Manufacturing Practices in 21CFR§110.

Appearance

Light cream in color (ADPI chart “A” to “C”), free-flowing and free of lumps that do not break up under slight pressure 

 

Flavor

Normal whey flavor, but may have slight fermented and utensil flavors with definite whey and feed flavors possible.

 

Shelf life & Storage

1 year when shipped and stored at ambient temperatures not exceeding 100°F.   The Dried products can absorb odors and moisture. Storage in a cool & dry environment recommended for maximum shelf life.
