Description:   A food-grade dried permeate-powder made from membrane separation of milk whey that has been pasteurized, cultured, drained from the curd, and is obtained by the removal of water only from the resulting serum by evaporation. The raw milk is screened for antibiotic residues using approved methods by a certified analyst prior to receipt. The product conforms to and is manufactured consistent with all requirements of the Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act as amended and the definitions and standards of identity in the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 7, Part 58 and Title 21, Part 184, and FDA’s current Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations – Title 21, Part 110.

Appearance

A uniform cream to a slight straw-color and shall not be a dark tan color, which is an indication of excessive heat treatment.

Flavor

Possess a sweet, pleasing, and desirable flavor with some cooked-flavor notes.  It shall be free from scorched, oxidized, or other objectionable flavors and odors.

Shelf life & Storage

1 year when shipped and stored at ambient temperatures not exceeding 100°F.   The Dried products can absorb odors and moisture.  Storage in a cool & dry environment recommended for maximum shelf life.

Information printed &/or stamped on 50 lb bags x 40/pallet (50 for Dawson) and 2000# totes:  Extra Grade Sweet Whey Powder -D40, state plant number, 4-digit plant ID number, 1YYDAY (julian date), & sub-lot letter/number.

多层纸袋内聚酯袋包装。在室温(<26 0C 80 0F 及小于65%相对湿度条件下未开包产品保存期可达一年。粉状产品易吸湿、吸潮,请在阴凉干燥处储藏。
